Closing Reception: Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 6-11 PM
“Breaking News” is collection of paintings by American artist Mitch Messmore which explores his personal understanding of events happening around the world. Fed up with news censorship and media partiality, his art explores the possible truth behind the stories we hear every day in an abstract fashion.
The artist will be present to talk about the exhibit and what it’s like being an American artist in Lebanon.
Refreshments will be served.
A parking lot is available in front of MTV Building (Zahar Parking).
